Mrs. Kennedy, who has said “the greatest responsibility in life is your children,” is shown here in May, 1965, with son John, almost 5, and daughter Caroline, nearly 8. The children of the late President have spent what for them is a fairly normal year—hunting Easter eggs in Vermont, skiing in Colorado, swimming off Cape Cod, exploring Central Park, romping at the World’s Fair, visiting Queen Elizabeth II, and attending school.
